Fetal Pillow Winner of Patient Safety Award
Fetal Pillow has been announced as winner of the HSJ Patient safety award for 'Best Product or Innovation for Patient Safety'
The judges said:
“This winning entry was an excellent example of a clinician identifying a solution to a patient safety problem that has a devastating effect on families and staff. The panel hopes that this encourages more hospitals to adopt this approach and becomes part of standard practice.”
There were over 500 entries for the awards with only 20 winners decided by a panel of expert judges.

Fetal Pillow was exhibited for the first time following FDA Clearance at the SOGH Annual Clinical Meeting, and was featured in its Skills Workshop where a number of physicians were able to try the device for the first time. Simplicity, ease of use and safety were all highlighted by doctors as clear benefits of this device.
